Our beaded work takes far longer at the bench, and it shows. The Taos threads seed beads through the horsehair braid in a Southwestern pattern, so the piece carries both the texture of the hair and the color of the desert.
Beading a horsehair bracelet is patient work. Each bead is set into the braid by hand as the pattern builds, which is why a beaded piece like the Taos takes far longer than a plain band — and why no two come out exactly alike.
Inspired by the colors of the Southwest, the Taos pairs the warmth of natural horsehair with a run of fine seed beads.
