Larkspur Wool Throw

The everyday companion to our heavy camp blanket. Same ranch wool, woven lighter and softer for the sofa, the porch swing, or the foot of the bed, with a band of larkspur blue dyed in a small lot — named for the wildflower that runs blue through our meadows ahead of the beargrass bloom.

The Larkspur Throw is what you reach for when the camp blanket is more than you need — a chilly evening on the porch, a nap with a book, a kid asleep on the sofa. It's the same wool off the same sheep, just woven lighter and brushed soft so it drapes instead of stands. The blue stripe is dyed in a small lot to match the larkspur that comes up blue across our meadows in early summer.

We keep these in the lodge for guests, and people ask to take one home so often that we finally started selling them. Like everything from Beargrass Woolens, it's our clip, milled in the Mission Valley and carried back over the pass — a little of the ranch you can wrap around your shoulders wherever you live.
